Whitehall Lane Cabernet Sauvignon 2017. This 2014 Cabernet balances bright flavors and aromas with rich structure, weight, and texture. The wine bursts with a complex array of aromas including fresh blueberries, huckleberry pie, crème de cassis, bay leaf, clove, licorice, and toasted almonds. On the palate, there is a strong presence of baked blackberry cobbler, black cherries, graphite, dried sage, sweet cedar, and nuances of toasted walnuts. These flavors hold through the mid-palate and finish with firm and chewy tannins.

It is enjoyable now and will continue to evolve through 2025 and beyond. Blend: 94% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec. Juicy and fruity with currants, walnuts and hints of fresh herbs. Full body, round tannins and a flavorful finish. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon, which is 94% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Petit Verdot and Malbec, saw 40% new French oak for 20 months prior to bottling. This is an outstanding wine full-bodied, with sweet blackcurrant fruit, some graphite, licorice and savory allspice.

It is round and juicy, with light tannin and low acidity. Drink it over the next 12-15 years.
